What You'll Do
As the Director, Digital Marketing and Technology, you will serve as the architect of our integrated digital ecosystem, connecting digital channels, marketing technologies, audience insights, and donor experiences into a cohesive strategy.
At Cure Alzheimer's Fund, our mission is simple and urgent: to fund the most promising research to prevent, slow, and ultimately cure Alzheimer's disease. We are seeking an innovative and strategic Director level professional to lead and optimize our digital marketing ecosystem, creating meaningful experiences that engage audiences, inspire donors, and advance our mission.
Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, this role is ideal for a digitally savvy leader who combines strategic thinking, marketing expertise, technical fluency, and a passion for using data and technology to drive measurable results. The Director will also supervise and mentor one direct report, fostering professional growth, collaboration, and high performance across digital marketing initiatives.
Lead Digital Strategy
- Translate organizational goals into integrated, multi-channel digital marketing strategies.
- Design audience and donor journeys that build awareness, deepen engagement, drive conversion, and strengthen retention.
- Develop channel plans, measurement frameworks, and technology roadmaps that support growth and impact.
Own the Website Experience
- Lead website strategy, governance, user experience, and optimization.
- Oversee WordPress, content architecture, accessibility, SEO, AI discoverability, hosting, security, integrations, and performance.
- Manage external development partners and technology vendors.
Drive Marketing Automation & Email Engagement
- Lead lifecycle marketing programs through Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement and related technologies.
- Develop nurturing, stewardship, event, cultivation, and re-engagement journeys.
- Leverage automation, personalization, testing, and AI-enabled capabilities to improve engagement and retention.
Manage Digital Channels
- Oversee paid and organic search, paid social, social media, display advertising, retargeting, video, and emerging channels.
- Coordinate audience targeting, messaging, media investments, and campaign performance across touchpoints.
Lead Analytics & Optimization
- Own digital measurement, reporting, and performance analysis.
- Manage Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, campaign tracking, dashboards, and conversion optimization initiatives.
- Use audience insights and performance data to continuously improve results.
Guide Marketing Technology Innovation
- Evaluate and implement technologies that improve audience experience and organizational effectiveness.
- Strengthen integrations across website, CRM, fundraising platforms, marketing automation, social media, and analytics tools.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and digital expertise across the organization.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, Information Systems, or related field.
- 8+ years of progressive digital marketing leadership experience.
- 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Proven success leading integrated, multi-channel marketing programs and digital ecosystems.
- Experience developing audience journeys, segmentation strategies, and lifecycle marketing programs.
- Strong expertise in website management, WordPress, SEO, analytics, and digital experience optimization.
- Advanced experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, marketing automation, or comparable platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and data-driven marketing.
- Knowledge of paid media, social media, digital advertising, and emerging AI-driven marketing practices.
- Strong project management, communication, leadership, and vendor management skills.
- Passion for advancing the fight against Alzheimer's disease and supporting those impacted by it.

Salary and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $130,000 – 165,000 and represents the base pay the organization expects to offer for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location. CureAlz also offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life & disability insurances, 401k retirement plan, and paid time off.
