About the Role

CGC Custom Bytes Computers is looking for a creative, responsible, and outgoing Social Media Content Creator & On-Camera Personality to join our team full-time.

This is not just a video editing position. We are looking for someone who can help shoot, produce, edit, and appear in content for our social media channels, including CGCPCBuilds on Instagram, as well as TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and other platforms.

Our content revolves around custom gaming PCs, PC components, gaming setups, new products, technology, repairs, product showcases, builds, unboxings, and collaborations with computer hardware brands.

The ideal candidate is someone who genuinely understands gaming and PC culture, follows social media trends, is comfortable talking on camera, and knows how to turn a product or idea into entertaining short-form content.

What You'll Be Doing

• Film and produce short-form social media content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms.
• Regularly appear on camera presenting products, PC builds, components, promotions, and other content.
• Edit videos into polished, engaging social media content.
• Help develop video concepts, hooks, scripts, and content ideas.
• Create content around custom PCs, gaming hardware, PC components, new product releases, and technology brands.
• Film product showcases, unboxings, PC builds, behind-the-scenes content, promotional videos, and educational content.
• Keep up with gaming, PC hardware, memes, social media trends, sounds, editing styles, and popular content formats.
• Work with our team to plan and maintain a consistent content schedule.
• Help create content that supports product launches, store promotions, advertising campaigns, and brand partnerships.
• Understand how organic social content differs from content designed for paid advertising.
• Assist with creative content for Meta and TikTok advertising campaigns.
• Review content performance and help identify which types of videos, hooks, and ideas perform best.
• Represent CGCPCBuilds professionally and naturally on camera.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who

• Is available to work full-time and can be dependable and responsible.
• Is comfortable and confident appearing on camera.
• Has video filming and editing experience.
• Can provide a portfolio or examples of previous video work.
• Understands short-form social media content and how platforms such as Instagram and TikTok work.
• Has at least a basic understanding of Meta Ads and TikTok Ads. Professional advertising experience is a plus but is not required.
• Understands what makes a strong hook and how to hold attention in a short-form video.
• Has a genuine interest in gaming and gaming culture.
• Is a gamer and understands gaming-related social media, terminology, trends, and communities.
• Has an interest in PCs, computer hardware, technology, or custom PC building. Advanced technical knowledge is not required, but you should be excited to learn.
• Can communicate naturally and enthusiastically without sounding like they are simply reading a script.
• Is creative and comfortable bringing new ideas to the team.
• Can take direction while also being capable of working independently.
• Is organized and capable of completing content on schedule.

You do not need to know everything listed above. Creativity, reliability, personality, willingness to learn, and the ability to create engaging content are extremely important to us.

Portfolio Required

Please include a portfolio or examples of your video editing/content creation work with your application.

Video Introduction Required

Because appearing on camera will be an important part of this position, we would also like applicants to submit a short video introduction.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
