The Opportunity
The VP of Marketing will define and lead the strategy, execution, and growth of CXtec’s marketing organization, with direct accountability for accelerating revenue growth, gross margin dollars (GM$), and enterprise growth. The VP will operate as a strategic partner to the Chief Revenue Officer, Sales, Product, and Executive Leadership, building a high-performing marketing engine that creates demand, generates qualified pipeline, accelerates sales, and expands customer relationships.
This role offers a $155,000–$225,000 base salary, plus eligibility for a meaningful annual performance-based bonus. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and the scope of the candidate's experience relative to the role.
What You’ll Do
- Marketing Strategy & Growth
- Define and lead CXtec’s B2B marketing strategy in alignment with revenue, GM$, customer growth, and enterprise objectives.
- Identify and prioritize new markets, ideal customer profiles, verticals, whitespace, and other opportunities for growth through customer, market, and competitive insights.
- Demand Generation & Revenue
- Build and oversee an integrated demand-generation engine, including account-based marketing (ABM), digital, content, events, and other channels, to generate qualified pipeline and accelerate sales.
- Partner with Sales to drive new customer acquisition, customer expansion, cross-sell, reactivation, and strategic account growth.
- Product Marketing & Commercialization
- Lead positioning, messaging, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies for CXtec’s products, services, and offerings.
- Partner with Sales and Product to develop marketing and sales enablement strategies that translate offerings into revenue opportunities.
- Brand & Market Position
- Shape and strengthen CXtec’s B2B brand, digital presence, content strategy, and industry visibility.
- Oversee web strategy, SEO/SEM, conversion optimization, social media, events, and other initiatives that increase market awareness and engagement.
- Marketing Performance & ROI
- Establish and own Marketing KPIs, analytics, technology, and reporting to measure contribution to pipeline, revenue, GM$, customer growth, and ROI.
- Evaluate Marketing performance, investments, and opportunities to improve effectiveness, scalability, and business impact.
- Marketing Leadership
- Lead, develop, and hold the Marketing organization accountable for delivering against CXtec’s growth priorities.
- Serve as a strategic partner to the Chief Revenue Officer, Sales, Product, and Executive Leadership on growth strategy, market opportunities, customer insights, and Marketing performance.
What you Bring
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or a related field. Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
- At least 10 years of experience in B2B marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in the technology industry, including with product and service sales.
- Expertise in ABM and web optimization marketing, with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns and results.
- Proficient in using various marketing tools and platforms, such as CRM, marketing automation, analytics and web development.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Creative, strategic and analytical thinker, with a passion for B2B marketing and customer satisfaction.
