About the position

Delaware North is hiring a part-time Marketing & Communications Event Ambassador Administrator to join our Marketing and Communications team at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. Ideal candidates must demonstrate a high level of professionalism, reliability, honesty, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Previous marketing, communications and social media experience is required. Must have a flexible schedule in order to work hybrid, nights, weekends and holidays. Qualified applicants are required to work TD Garden events, included but not limited to concerts, Bruins games, Celtics games, and other major events where marketing and communications support is needed. This part-time position is paid an hourly wage; Applicants are required to provide their own transportation to and from work as well as determine their own parking arrangements unless otherwise specified.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Marketing & Communications team in the creation and distribution of social content across a variety of social platforms and channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other emerging platforms
  • Create, produce, and optimize content for use across social platforms, including video
  • Help manage and maintain an up-to-date social media content calendar
  • Help manage and maintain social initiatives, including Event Ambassadors Program and Causeway Creators Influencer Program
  • Publish and schedule content across all social platforms
  • Help manage and maintain an up-to-date traditional media contact list
  • Ideate pitches, story ideas and additional assets needed for traditional media
  • Monitor the media coverage in the region and prepare clipping reports (T/W/TH)
  • Serve as TD Garden marketing and communications MOD and oversee Event Ambassadors on-site at select concerts, games, and special events (as needed)
  • Coordinate with house photographers and manage content they provide
  • Assist in managing various TD Garden in the Community initiatives, including scoreboard requests, donation requests and team member volunteer opportunities
  • Assist in managing Access the Arts programs, including TD Guest List and TD House Artist
  • Staff various community events
  • Provide basic administrative support which includes coordinating meetings, preparing expense reports, creating event marketing profiles and produce post-event recaps
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • No high school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative or office position, including experience with office administrative procedures, use, and operation of standard office equipment
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Basic math skills
  • Previous marketing, communications and social media experience is required.
