We are looking for a forward-thinking, strategic, and relationship-driven Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to join our Executive Leadership Team and help shape the future of FAFCU!

What You'll Bring to the Table

As our Chief Marketing Officer, you'll have the opportunity to lead the vision and strategy behind how FAFCU grows, connects, and serves our communities. You'll be a key voice in organizational strategy, working alongside executive leaders and teams throughout the Credit Union to turn opportunities into measurable results.

Your impact will include

Drive Growth & Business Development

• Develop and execute short- and long-term strategies that drive membership, loan, deposit, and asset growth.
• Identify new market opportunities through demographics, competitive research, and member insights.
• Build meaningful relationships with local businesses, employers, community organizations, and strategic partners.
• Help expand FAFCU's presence and strengthen our position in the communities we serve.

Lead Marketing & Brand Strategy

• Shape and oversee FAFCU's overall marketing and brand strategy.
• Lead advertising, digital marketing, public relations, community engagement, and promotional initiatives.
• Develop annual marketing plans, budgets, and campaigns with measurable goals and results.
• Strengthen our brand, product positioning, and competitive presence.

Turn Data Into Opportunity

• Use member data, market research, competitive intelligence, and financial performance to identify opportunities.
• Strengthen the use of CRM systems, business intelligence, and data analytics.
• Establish meaningful performance measurements and evaluate campaign effectiveness and return on investment.
• Bring insights and recommendations to executive leadership to help guide organizational decisions.

Lead, Inspire & Collaborate

• Serve as an active member of FAFCU's Executive Leadership Team.
• Provide leadership, coaching, direction, and accountability to the Marketing Director and assigned team members.
• Build a culture of ownership, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Partner across departments to improve member acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention, and overall member experience.
• Develop strategic partnerships that create value for our members and communities.

What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who can think strategically, lead confidently, build relationships, and turn big ideas into action.

Our ideal candidate will bring

• 5–10 years of progressively responsible experience in marketing, business development, strategic growth, or related leadership roles.
• Demonstrated success developing and executing growth strategies and achieving measurable results.
• Experience leading teams, developing talent, and establishing accountability.
• Strong analytical, financial, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of marketing strategy, business development, CRM systems, and performance measurement.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, including the ability to present recommendations to executive leadership, the Board of Directors, and community partners.
• A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
