Position Overview

Fortune is seeking a highly motivated, detail‑oriented, and results‑driven Senior Manager, GTM (Go‑to‑Market) to join our Integrated Marketing team. This role will focus on supporting the Fortune Sales organization in driving advertising and partnership revenue across all our media platforms—including digital, events, video, podcast, print, and social.

In this position, you will play a vital role in the pre‑sales process for ad‑based marketing partnerships from ideation through proposal submission, aligning with revenue goals.

You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Editorial, Account Management, Activation, Product, and Fortune Brand Studio teams to coordinate brainstorms, kickoff meetings, and program development. A successful Senior Manager, GTM, will craft innovative proposals that exceed expectations and contribute to sold partnerships.

Primary Responsibilities

Team members play a key role in driving ad sales growth by developing and communicating integrated marketing solutions that leverage Fortune’s full suite of media assets.

  • Go‑to‑Market Strategy: Support the development and execution of GTM strategies and positioning for advertising and brand partnership initiatives. Work closely with the Director, GTM, and cross‑functional teams to coordinate go‑to‑market planning, ensuring alignment across Sales, Product, and Editorial.
  • RFP Management: Partner with the Director, GTM, to manage the end‑to‑end pre‑sales process—including RFP responses, custom proposal development, and sales narrative creation. Deliver high‑quality, insight‑driven materials that align with client objectives and drive revenue opportunities.
  • Strategic Development: Collaborate on the conceptualization and pitching of creative, insight‑driven marketing programs that align Fortune’s editorial authority with client goals.
  • Data & Insights: Use tools such as Ipsos to analyze and interpret audience data to craft compelling sales stories.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively across departments to support GTM strategies for new products, event alignments, and ad solutions.
  • Operations Support: Assist with the management and organization of marketing and sales materials across internal systems, including SharePoint and the digital asset management (DAM) platform, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and version control.

Professional/Personal Qualifications

  • Experience: 5–7 years of marketing experience in a media organization or agency, ideally across multiple platforms, digital media and advertising categories.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and analytics platforms.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to translate market insights into actionable go‑to‑market plans.
  • Collaborative & Entrepreneurial: Flexible and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and an ability to thrive in dynamic, cross‑functional environments.
  • Effective Communicator: Known for clear, concise communication and the ability to develop high‑impact sales materials quickly.
  • Project Ownership: Highly organized and process‑oriented, with strong project management skills from ideation to execution.

This position is based in New York, NY, and reports to the Director, GTM.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000. This range is a good-faith estimate and may ultimately vary based on a number of relevant factors.
