This Is Not a Traditional CMO Role

We are explicitly not looking for an MBA, spreadsheet-first, “let’s test LinkedIn ads” type of marketer.

We’re building a culture-forward, transparency-first platform that connects startup founders and investors the way dating apps connect people—fast, visual, honest, and human.

To grow this, we don’t need “best practices.”

We need someone who can turn heads.

About the Company

We’re building a Tinder-style platform for Startup Founders × Investors—but with teeth.

Our product enables

  • Instant discovery of founders and investors
  • Radical transparency (what’s being built, check sizes, cap tables, who’s leading rounds)
  • In-platform messaging (no lost emails)
  • Scheduling, document exchange, SAFEs, and deal execution
  • Visibility into live rounds and investor participation

This isn’t a tool—it’s a scene. And we’re here to change how capital actually moves.

The Role

This is a founding growth role for someone who

  • Lives online
  • Understands social platforms instinctively
  • Is comfortable being the face, voice, and energy of a brand
  • Knows that boring marketing doesn’t create movements

You’ll be responsible for making this platform impossible to ignore.

What You’ll Actually Do

  • Build the brand in public across social platforms (X, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, whatever works)
  • Experiment aggressively with unconventional, creator-led, and culture-driven growth
  • Create moments, not campaigns
  • Attend events, founder meetups, parties, and investor gatherings—and turn them into content
  • Shape how founders and investors talk about the platform
  • Develop a voice that feels real, funny, sharp, and confident
  • Work directly with the founding team to align product, culture, and growth
  • Help define what “marketing” even means for this company

Who This Is For

This role is for one specific type of person

  • Deeply fluent in social media and internet culture
  • Comfortable being on camera, online, and in rooms
  • Willing to try things that might fail—but might also explode
  • High energy, highly social, and genuinely enjoys people
  • Understands startups, fundraising, or venture (or learns extremely fast)
  • Doesn’t need permission to move
  • Thinks in vibes and execution

If your instinct is “this would be fun as hell,” you’re probably the right type.
