Founding Field Marketer, East Coast - Start Up
Hiring for a Easy Coast field marketer for a fast growing start up company.
You'll join at exactly the right moment: the plan exists, pipeline is building, and sales is hungry for marketing partnership. Your impact will be immediate and visible.
What you'll own:
- The East Coast field marketing calendar — 15–20 events through year-end, from tier-one conferences to targeted regional activations
- Day-to-day partnership with East Coast AEs and SDRs, turning pipeline priorities into localized programs, workshops, roundtables, executive engagements
- Full event operations: logistics, budget, vendors, follow-up, lead capture
- Performance measurement tied to pipeline influence and deal velocity
- Building the playbook as you go - this is a founding role with real input into process and tooling
Who you are:
- 4–6 years in field or event marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS or cybersecurity
- A proven track record of events that drive measurable pipeline impact
- A strong self-starter who's comfortable with ambiguity and building the plane while flying it
- A creative, ideas-first thinker — the team already has strong execution; they need someone who brings the "what if we tried this instead" energy
- A skilled stakeholder manager, especially with fast-moving sales teams
- AI-savvy — you use AI tools to accelerate event promotion, personalize outreach, and streamline ops
- Willing to travel ~25–40% across the Eastern US (occasional international travel possible)
MUST HAVE!!: cybersecurity/cloud/infrastructure marketing background, prior early-stage (Series A/B) experience, familiarity with CISO or enterprise security buyer personas.
Remote-first, with regular East Coast travel. If you want to define what field marketing looks like in an entirely new category, we'd love to hear from you.
