The global marketing function at Global Payments oversees Brand, Product Marketing, and Growth and Revenue Performance for Merchant Acquirer Solutions. About the Role
We are in search of a strategic and data-driven Lead Digital Marketing Strategist with extensive experience in digital marketing and a proven track record of achieving measurable business outcomes. This pivotal role will focus on developing and executing paid media campaigns across various channels for our diverse product portfolio. You will spearhead strategies in SEM, paid social, and additional paid media channels to boost demand and facilitate customer acquisition. This high-impact position offers a chance to help shape efficient and scalable paid marketing efforts within a Fortune 500 global payments company. By collaborating closely with product, analytics, and creative teams, you will design and optimize campaigns that drive measurable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Drive the creation and implementation of effective paid social and digital marketing strategies to optimize the acquisition funnel.
- Identify new channels, platforms, and techniques to unlock scalable growth.
- Act as a key strategic partner to senior leadership in shaping paid growth strategies and making investment decisions.
- Maintain strong relationships with agency teams and ad platform representatives to stay current with policy changes, feature updates, and performance optimization.
Campaign Management & Optimization
- Oversee all aspects of paid campaigns, including budgeting, targeting, creative development, and product prioritization for optimal performance.
- Continuously experiment with new ad formats, targeting strategies, bidding methods, and creative content to enhance campaign results.
- Collaborate with Product, Analytics, Brand, and Creative teams to enhance conversion rates and overall funnel performance.
- Lead the activation and execution of the digital brand strategy.
Performance Analysis and Reporting
- Analyze key campaign performance metrics (such as CPM, CAC, CPO, ROAS) and provide actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Deliver regular performance reports to senior leadership, summarizing campaign results, insights, and growth forecasts.
- Contribute to demand forecasting and ensure resource allocation aligns with growth targets.
- Work closely with Campaign Managers, Marketing Operations, CRO, Lifecycle, Data, and Sales teams to maintain visibility and communication throughout the sales funnel.
Budget Management
- Manage a seven-figure paid media budget, ensuring efficient allocation and cost-effective marketing spend while minimizing CAC and maximizing ROAS.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in performance marketing or growth roles, preferably in a high-growth B2B or tech environment.
- Demonstrated success in managing multi-million dollar ad budgets across various channels.
- Solid understanding of enterprise sales cycles and multi-stakeholder decision-making processes.
- Experience executing campaigns across diverse business lines (e.g., POS, Payments, SaaS).
- Strong analytical mindset capable of transforming data into actionable insights.
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities, especially within global teams.
- Ability to present complex data clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, bridging strategic leadership with tactical execution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience marketing complex SaaS or payments solutions to enterprise clients.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory considerations in global payments or financial services.
- Knowledge of using AI tools for campaign automation and scalability.
