The company seeks a hands-on fractional marketing leader to convert existing social and website traffic into customers, develop a clear prioritized roadmap, and train the small internal team to take over execution. The engagement is intended to deliver measurable conversion improvements, a practical marketing playbook, and a transition plan for internal ownership. The role reports to the founder and begins with an initial three-month term.

Scope

  • Assess the current e-commerce conversion funnel, analytics, site experience, and checkout flow, then identify priority optimizations with estimated impact and effort.
  • Design and run an advertising and creative testing program across paid social and related channels to improve conversion and lower acquisition costs.
  • Create a prioritized, time-bound marketing roadmap and operational playbook documenting campaigns, creative processes, testing protocols, and success metrics.
  • Train the founder and small internal team to take over campaign execution and vendor management, providing templates, standard operating procedures, and review cadences.
  • Advise on product pricing, merchandising, and offer tests to address price sensitivity while protecting brand positioning.
  • Coordinate with existing external partners to align efforts and facilitate a smooth transition of responsibilities.
  • Establish measurement, reporting, and dashboards to track conversion performance and validate experiments.
  • Recommend and scope practical product, promotion, or merchandising tests suited to upcoming sales periods.

Ideal experience

  • Proven track record growing direct-to-consumer apparel or e-commerce brands, with measurable gains in conversion rate and online revenue.
  • Hands-on experience executing paid social campaigns, creative testing, onsite A/B experiments, and end-to-end conversion optimization.
  • Experience developing concise, implementable marketing roadmaps and playbooks for small teams.
  • Experience coaching founders and early-stage internal teams and transferring marketing operations, including vendor transition and management.
  • Experience building or advising creator-content programs and integrating influencer content into paid and owned channels.
  • Bonus: Experience serving specialized consumer audiences and familiarity with pricing sensitivity in those markets.
  • Bonus: Experience supporting broader distribution or fashion-related placements and coordinating merchandising across direct and wholesale channels.
