Position: Fractional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

Location: Remote / Offshore

Engagement Type: Fractional / Contract (15–40 hours/month depending on scope)

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Fractional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead our marketing strategy, demand generation, and brand positioning efforts. This is a remote, offshore-friendly role designed for a senior marketing leader who can operate at both strategic and tactical levels.

The ideal candidate has experience building marketing engines for Fintech/Banking/ Product Companies/ Professional services firms and understands lead generation in regulated or compliance-driven industries.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and own the annual and quarterly marketing strategy
  • Define positioning, messaging, and brand differentiation
  • Establish KPIs tied to revenue growth and pipeline development
  • Align marketing with business development and sales goals

Demand Generation

  • Design scalable lead generation strategies (organic + paid)
  • Oversee Linked In thought leadership strategy
  • Build and optimize email and nurture funnels
  • Implement outbound and inbound marketing frameworks

Brand & Market Positioning

  • Refine value proposition and service messaging
  • Guide content strategy (blogs, whitepapers, webinars, case studies)
  • Ensure consistency across all client touchpoints

Performance & Optimization

  • Set up marketing dashboards and reporting structure
  • Analyze campaign performance and optimize ROI
  • Manage marketing budget and vendor relationships

Team & Vendor Oversight

  • Manage Marketing Associate and external vendors
  • Recommend tools, automation platforms, and CRM improvements
  • Build scalable marketing infrastructure

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of marketing experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role
  • Proven experience in Fintech/Banking/ Product Companies/ Professional services
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, Linked In growth, email funnels, and performance metrics
  • Experience working with both onshore, offshore or distributed teams
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities

Preferred

  • Experience in compliance, legal, risk, consulting, or financial services sectors
  • Experience building marketing functions from early stage to growth stage
  • Familiarity with Hub Spot, Salesforce, or similar CRM platforms

Engagement Structure

  • Monthly retainer-based compensation
  • Clear quarterly KPIs tied to pipeline growth and brand visibility
  • Flexible working hours aligned with U.S. leadership availability

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $75.00 - $100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
