Requirements for the Chief Marketing Officer - San Diego, CA
We are seeking a highly accomplished and strategic leader with deep expertise in the medical device industry. The following qualifications are essential for this role:
Educational Background
A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required. An MBA or other advanced degree is highly preferred.
Executive Experience
A minimum of 15 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5-7 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., VP of Marketing, CMO) within the medical device, life sciences, or healthcare technology industry.
Industry Expertise
Demonstrable experience marketing FDA-regulated Class II or Class III medical devices is essential. A strong understanding of the clinical and economic buyers within hospital systems, private practices, and integrated delivery networks (IDNs) is required.
Proven Track Record
