For our client, we are seeking a VP Marketing to join the team of a leader in the Staffing space. This role will drive search and content-led growth initiatives that improve visibility, acquisition, and measurable demand. You will collaborate with analytics, product, creative, and commercial teams to turn market insights into scalable campaigns, testing strategies, and performance improvements. The position offers the opportunity to directly influence customer engagement, conversion performance, and revenue growth within a Staffing environment.

Location: Palo Alto, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $224,000 – $427,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Own and enhance the Marketplace growth system targeting SMB and mid-market customers across multiple channels
  • Drive improved marketing operations through experimentation and efficiency
  • Define and execute a long-term marketing strategy aligned with company’s enterprise goals
  • Lead demand generation and performance marketing with a focus on high-intent customer acquisition
  • Oversee Product Marketing, Brand, and Content to ensure seamless customer experiences across touchpoints
  • Influence company-wide strategy and priorities as a member of the senior leadership team

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years in performance marketing leadership, preferably in a scaled marketplace or platform business
  • Demonstrated success in enterprise-level strategy and impactful ownership of marketing functions
  • Expertise in channels like paid acquisition, SEO, and lifecycle marketing, with strong analytical skills
  • Experience integrating multiple marketing disciplines into cohesive strategies that drive business outcomes
  • Deep understanding of SMB and mid-market customer dynamics, including buyer intent and urgency
  • Fluency in marketing analytics, capable of guiding investment and ROI strategies through data
  • Comfortable in AI-implemented environments, harnessing AI for marketing efficiency
