Position Overview
The Digital Marketing and Social Media Strategist is responsible for creating, executing, and overseeing digital marketing and social media strategies for both our organization and our clients. Engaging target audiences, boosting brand visibility, and achieving business objectives are key goals. This role involves digital strategy, compelling content creation, social media channel management, client strategy oversight, performance metrics analysis, and staying abreast of industry trends to optimize strategies. Collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., graphic design, content writing) and cultivating partnerships with influencers are essential to ensure alignment with overall marketing goals and brand messaging while maintaining regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain client-facing strategy documents, content calendars, and campaign plans with clear next steps and ownership.
- Manage client communications for assigned accounts, including status calls, expectation-setting, recaps, and internal coordination with design and content teams.
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing and social media strategies to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and engage target audiences across various platforms.
- Create engaging and relevant content tailored to each platform, including posts, videos, reels, graphics, and interactive elements.
- Conduct research, competitor analysis, and audience insights to inform strategies across social, email, and paid media channels.
- Build, launch, and optimize digital advertising campaigns, including targeting, creative direction, and performance tracking.
- Develop conversion funnels and recommend website/landing page improvements to strengthen lead generation and user engagement.
- Report on campaign and channel performance using analytics tools and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Identify new opportunities, tools, and emerging trends to continuously refine and evolve strategies for better results.
- Oversee and maintain all social media platforms through daily monitoring, content posting, active audience engagement, and timely response to comments and messages.
- Analyze key metrics and use insights to optimize content, campaigns, and strategies to meet business objectives.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, and other partners to expand reach and enhance brand credibility.
- Continuously research potential influencers for partnerships, whether paid or through collaborations.
- Stay informed about industry regulations and ensure compliance in all marketing activities.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest digital and social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms, incorporating them into strategic planning as appropriate.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to align strategies and achieve overall marketing goals.

Work Environment
