We are looking for someone who leads proactively. You will spot gaps before anyone asks, bring recommendations forward, and fill those gaps with the resources, messaging, and programs the business needs to grow.
This is a role for someone who wants to make a mark. You will help launch and grow multiple products, including new offerings for organizers, exhibitors, and attendees, with the opportunity to take on more responsibility.
What you'll do
Own the product story
- Define clear value propositions, positioning, and messaging for every MYS product.
- Lead with buyer outcomes, not features.
- Keep the story consistent across the website, sales decks, analyst materials, and collateral.
Lead launches and campaigns
- Own launch positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans from internal readiness to market impact.
- Develop and execute product campaigns with digital and content marketing.
- Track adoption and campaign performance and adjust based on results.
Partner across the business
- Work with product to understand the roadmap early and shape positioning before launch.
- Partner with product education to align customer training with market messaging.
- Work with sales and account management to understand what customers need and where deals stall.
- Bring customer and field insight back into positioning and product priorities.
Equip sales to win
- Identify the resources needed by the sales and account teams, then build them before they ask.
- Create battlecards, talk tracks, demos, and objection handling.
- Build a repeatable win/loss discipline to help influence product development.
Know the competition
- Track competitor positioning, features, and share of voice.
- Maintain a live competitive resource for the sales and product teams..
Build the proof
- Define the outcome metrics MYS can credibly claim.
- Turn customer results into case studies, benchmarks, and data stories.
Grow external visibility
- Earn MYS a place in industry conversations on event technology and AI.
- Support media, podcast, and speaking opportunities, including customers presenting MYS results.
- Drive customer reviews on platforms like G2 and Capterra.
Use AI as a force multiplier
- Use AI to accelerate research, competitive analysis, sales enablement, campaigns, messaging, and launch materials.
- Build repeatable AI-enabled workflows that let MYS create more high-quality product marketing work at greater speed.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
- 5+ years of marketing experience, with at least 2 to 3 years in B2B SaaS product marketing
- A track record of launching products and building positioning that sales and customers adopt
- Experience turning customer insight and data into messaging, case studies, and proof points
- Strong technical curiosity and enough fluency to work effectively with product and engineering to translate technology development into customer value.
- Strong writing skills with a sharp, plain-spoken style
- Ability to influence across product, sales, and account teams without direct authority
- A proactive mindset: you find the gaps and fill them
- A high level of personal drive, urgency, and ownership. You are willing to put in the extra effort when a launch, customer opportunity, or competitive situation demands it.
- Comfort operating with significant independence. You can take an incomplete product brief, ask the right questions, and turn it into useful go-to-market work.
- Experience with HubSpot
- This is an in-office position. You must be located in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. Relocation is not offered for this position.
Nice to have
- Event technology or trade show industry experience
- Experience marketing AI or data products
