Senior Product Marketing Manager, Competitive Intelligence - Identity and Network Security

Overview

In this role you will lead competitive intelligence for identity, access, and securing AI, partnering with Entra product marketing and engineering. You translate market and customer insights into actionable guidance for winning deals, shaping product direction, and crafting field-ready materials. You'll produce analyses, briefs, and battlecards to support priority deals and market decisions. This is a chance to influence security strategy at scale and help Microsoft advance in identity and AI security.

Responsibilities

• Lead competitive insight across IAM, identity governance, and SSE, tracking competitor moves and implications for Microsoft.
• Influence Entra direction by turning insights into investment, product improvements, and positioning for securing AI agents and access.
• Provide field guidance for competitive evaluations, including vendor analyses, technical briefs, and battlecards.
• Support priority deals with timely, accurate competitive intelligence to impact outcomes.

Key requirements

• Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field with 3+ years in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field with 5+ years in business OR equivalent experience
• Technical depth in identity and/or network access security (e.g., SSO/MFA, conditional access, IGA, ITDR, SSE/SASE, ZTNA, CASB)
• Familiarity with securing AI (agents, AI app access controls) is a plus
• Experience in competitive intelligence, structured market evaluation, and translating findings into positioning and sales guidance
• Strong ability to influence across engineering, product, marketing, and sales; clear written and presentation skills
