Executive Growth Leader

Role Summary
The Executive Growth Leader will own and drive the company’s overall growth strategy across defense and national security markets. This individual will be responsible for shaping market direction, expanding pipeline, and converting early traction into a scalable, repeatable revenue engine. This role requires a hands-on executive who brings credibility within government or defense-adjacent ecosystems, thrives in ambiguous environments, and can balance near-term execution with long-term positioning. The role has high visibility with executive leadership and the board.
Growth Strategy & Market Expansion
- Define and lead the company’s revenue and growth strategy across defense and national security
markets
- Identify and prioritize new markets, customers, and use cases for existing products
- Build conviction around product value with government stakeholders and strategic partners
- Represent the voice of the customer internally to inform product evolution and roadmap decisions
- Partner closely with product, engineering, and marketing to ensure alignment and execution
Revenue Execution
- Own complex sales motions from early engagement through award and transition
- Set, manage, and consistently deliver against pipeline and revenue targets
- Establish, monitor, and report on key performance metrics
- Oversee proposal development, contracting processes, and deal execution
Team Leadership
- Build, lead, and scale a high-performing business development and revenue operations organization
- Set clear objectives, expectations, and accountability across the team
- Foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, and performance
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience scaling revenue in early-stage or high-growth environments
- Deep understanding of complex, stakeholder-driven sales cycles
- Demonstrated success selling defense technology or dual-use products into government or regulated markets
- Strong cross-functional acumen spanning sales, business development, product, and partnerships
- Track record of owning deals from first engagement through award
- Ability to operate without a defined playbook while creating structure and momentum
- Executive presence with experience engaging senior leadership and boards
- Ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance (active clearance preferred)
