Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) – Funnel & Growth Leader

We are seeking a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to build, own, and scale the entire marketing area of the company.

This is not a traditional corporate CMO role. We are looking for a builder and operator who can engineer a marketing system that consistently generates high-quality leads and profitable growth.

The CMO will be responsible for creating demand, building marketing funnels, managing acquisition channels, and leading the marketing team to produce measurable revenue results.

The goal of this role is to develop a fully operational marketing system that produces predictable, scalable, and profitable growth for Ridley Academy.

This role reports directly to the CEO / Founder and will have full ownership of the Marketing area.

Key Responsibilities

Own the Marketing Area

  • Take full responsibility for marketing performance and results
  • Build and structure the marketing organization
  • Identify and fill key roles needed for growth

Engineer Revenue Through Marketing

  • Translate company revenue goals into actionable marketing strategy
  • Ensure sufficient demand, lead flow, and conversion across marketing funnels
  • Identify and eliminate bottlenecks across the marketing system

Build and Scale Marketing Systems

  • Oversee creation and performance of all funnels (webinars, VSL funnels, call funnels, etc.)
  • Ensure marketing systems are functional, optimized, and scalable
  • Expand the number of active revenue-producing funnels over time

Operate Through Data

  • Track and analyze marketing performance daily
  • Monitor key statistics such as cost per acquisition, funnel conversion rates, and return on ad spend
  • Make decisions based on data and performance metrics

Optimize Profitability

  • Improve lead quality and conversion rates
  • Maintain efficient acquisition costs
  • Increase revenue per lead and overall funnel performance

Lead the Marketing Team

  • Manage and develop marketing personnel
  • Ensure each role in the division has clear outputs and accountability
  • Delegate execution while maintaining overall responsibility for results

Own Messaging and Positioning

  • Ensure products are packaged and positioned effectively
  • Align marketing messaging with sales execution
  • Continuously improve offers and marketing angles

Coordinate with Sales and Delivery

  • Ensure marketing leads convert effectively into customers
  • Align marketing messaging with product delivery and customer experience
  • Use feedback from sales and delivery teams to improve marketing performance

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate already has the ability to

  • Build and scale marketing funnels from scratch
  • Run paid acquisition channels (Meta, Google, YouTube, etc.)
  • Analyze and optimize funnels using performance data
  • Manage creative production (copy, video, design)
  • Lead and grow a marketing team

You are highly proactive, move fast, and consistently bring solutions and ideas ready to execute.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
