Internship Overview
We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Marketing Intern for the Spring 2025 semester. This role is ideal for students who want real agency experience while balancing coursework. Interns will gain hands-on exposure to content creation, social media strategy, analytics, branding, and business development.
This is a hybrid internship, primarily based in Tampa, FL, with some flexibility to work remotely.

February 9 – May 1, 2025
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (per diem)
Weekly hybrid meetings on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
Reports directly to Christina Cevetillo, Founder & CEO
Responsibilities
Interns will support both Sage Marketing & Media and client accounts
Responsibilities include
Assisting with social media management and content creation for Sage M&M and clients
Supporting content calendars, captions, and posting across platforms
Learning how to analyze social media performance and prepare insight reports
Monitoring industry trends and competitor activity
Attending weekly trainings and internal Zoom meetings
Writing blog content for the Sage Marketing & Media website
Assisting with basic website updates, SEO fundamentals, and email campaigns
Participating in sales training, mock sales calls, and select live sales calls
Supporting social media outreach and customer communication
Taking detailed notes and learning agency workflows, marketing strategy, and B2B practices
Additional tasks as assigned based on learning goals and business needs
Qualifications
Interest in social media, marketing, branding, and content creation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organized, dependable, and able to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Familiarity with social media platforms and trends
Working knowledge of Google Workspace
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
