Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy encompassing branding, demand generation, digital marketing, and event campaigns to drive company growth and revenue.
- Represent Scalables as a public-facing leader at conferences, trade shows, and in media appearances, effectively communicating our vision and the value of our Daisy platform.
- Leverage AI-driven marketing tools and analytics to optimize campaign performance and content creation, staying on the cutting edge of modern marketing techniques.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and product teams to align marketing initiatives with sales goals, ensuring a smooth marketing-sales funnel and unified revenue strategy.
- Build and lead the marketing department (and eventually the sales team), including hiring, mentoring, and establishing best practices and processes as the company scales.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Market Planning, Marketing Management, and overall Marketing strategies
- Experience in conducting Market Research to understand trends, competitive positioning, and customer needs
- Proficiency in Public Relations, with a strong network and the ability to manage communication strategies and media relations
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to build and manage a high-performing marketing team
- Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- Experience in the scientific or laboratory automation industry is a strong advantage
Qualifications
- 10+ years of marketing experience with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role driving branding and demand generation (experience in life science or technology sectors preferred).
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that increase brand awareness and generate qualified leads.
- Experience in B2B marketing of technical or scientific products; familiarity with laboratory automation or scientific instrumentation is a strong plus.
- Exceptional communication and public speaking skills, with experience serving as a company spokesperson or thought leader at industry events.
- Proficiency with modern marketing platforms (CRM, marketing automation, analytics) and comfort in leveraging AI-based tools for marketing content, personalization, and data analysis.
- Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset, able to thrive in a hands-on startup environment.
Nice-to-Haves
- Existing network and relationships in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or academic research communities.
- Experience planning and executing trade show strategies or scientific conference marketing.
- Knowledge of online advertising, SEO/SEM, and social media marketing tactics aimed at technical or scientific audiences.
Compensation Overview
