Job Description

Head of Marketing

App Launch Styon

Contract-to-Permanent Hybrid in Atlanta or Remote US-based only

About Styon

Getting dressed should feel effortless, but for most people it's a daily guessing game. Styon is an AI personal stylist that learns your taste, body, and life, then builds outfits that genuinely work and recommends the pieces and complete looks worth buying. We're pre-launch, the product is built, and we're hiring the person who will take it to market.

The Role

You'll be Styon's Head of Marketing, accountable for customer acquisition from launch onward. You'll set the plan, own the budget, and lead an in-house team of three to five plus the agencies we bring on, keeping ad accounts and data in Styon's name.

Before and at launch, you'll build the waitlist, beta group, and App Store and Google Play pre-registration, and seed early creators so day one doesn't start from zero. You'll run launch press, App Store Optimization (the store listing's keywords, screenshots, preview video, ratings, and reviews), and paid acquisition across Meta, TikTok, Apple Search Ads, and Google. Creator and social work on TikTok and Instagram sits at the center, because that is where fashion apps win or lose.

After launch, you'll keep installs growing across paid, organic, and creator channels, and work with product on referral loops, shareable looks, and an onboarding flow that gets a new user to her first great outfit fast. You'll run lifecycle push and email, and set up attribution with dashboards that track installs, cost per install, retention, and affiliate revenue.

What You'll Need

  • 5 to 7 years in US consumer marketing, including at least 3 years at manager level or above leading a team of at least three, plus hiring and managing agencies (scoping, fee negotiation, performance reviews).
  • A consumer app launch you led or co-led on the App Store and Google Play, with results you can walk us through.
  • A background in fashion, beauty, or apparel retail.
  • Hands-on command of App Store Optimization (ASO), paid social, creator marketing, and lifecycle CRM, enough to judge an agency's work and step in when needed.
  • Comfort with attribution and app metrics: installs, CPI, CPA, retention cohorts, and LTV.
  • Based in the US. Hybrid in the Atlanta area, or remote.

Nice to Have

  • Launched an AI-powered consumer app, or one that earns from in-app purchases or affiliate commerce.
  • An existing network of US fashion creators and fashion or tech press.
  • Worked at an early-stage startup as one of the first marketing hires.
