Field marketing teams move fast — but only as fast as their infrastructure allows. The Marketing Operations & Field Programs Manager is the person who builds and maintains that infrastructure. This role owns the vendor ecosystem that supports field execution: identifying the right partners, running a rigorous onboarding process, managing procurement relationships, and holding vendors to clear performance and compliance standards over time. When a Market Activation Manager needs a local canvassing partner, a print fulfillment vendor, or a promotional materials supplier, this role is why a qualified, contracted option already exists — rather than requiring a ground-up sourcing process every time.

Beyond vendor management, this role owns the operational capabilities that make the field team more effective at scale: the creative asset repository that gives every market consistent, brand-compliant materials; the swag and collateral ordering tools that remove friction from local activations; and the operational processes that keep field programs running cleanly across a distributed, high-volume team. This is an enablement role — its measure of success is how smoothly the field executes, not how visible the work behind it is.

Working Conditions

Travel required: This is a remote role with occasional travel for vendor site visits, field team onboarding, or program activations.

Cross-functional coordination with procurement, legal, finance, and the broader Field Marketing Strategy & Operations team.

Operational pace is steady-state with periodic intensity around vendor onboarding, new campaign launches, and/or capability rollouts.

Job Responsibilities

Vendor Management & Onboarding

Vendor Lifecycle: Own the end-to-end process for identifying, evaluating, onboarding, and managing vendors that support field marketing execution — including canvassing partners, event staffing agencies, print and fulfillment vendors, promotional merchandise suppliers, and local media partners.

Onboarding Standards: Develop and maintain clear criteria for why a vendor gets brought on: capability fit, geographic coverage, pricing benchmarks, compliance requirements, diversity and inclusion considerations, and track record. Document those standards so decisions are defensible and repeatable.

Vendor Performance: Manage active vendor relationships — conduct regular performance reviews, track SLA compliance, resolve issues before they become field disruptions, and make recommendations on continuation, expansion, or termination.

Procurement Partnership: Serve as the primary liaison between the field marketing team and T-Mobile's procurement function — managing SOWs, POs, and contract renewals in partnership with legal and procurement, and keeping field leaders informed on vendor status and timelines.

Vendor Registry: Maintain a vendor registry that gives the field team a clear, current view of approved partners by category and geography — so MAMs and Regional Field Leads aren't sourcing ad hoc.

Field Capabilities & Tools

Creative Repository: Own the creative asset repository — the centralized library where field teams access brand-approved templates, campaign materials, photography, copy guides, and customizable collateral. Keep it current, organized, and actually usable.

Swag & Collateral Tools: Manage swag and promotional merchandise ordering systems — from vendor selection to ordering platform configuration to fulfillment tracking. The field team should be able to order what they need without a manual workaround.

Capability Development: Identify operational friction points in how the field team accesses tools, materials, and vendor support — and build the processes or systems to remove them. This includes onboarding new MAMs and Regional Field Leads to available capabilities.

Scaling Support: Partner with the broader Field Marketing Strategy & Operations team to scope and implement new operational capabilities as the field program scales — evaluating new tools, platforms, and vendor categories as needs evolve.

Budget Management

Team Budget Ownership: Own the Field Marketing Strategy & Operations team budget — managing total spend across vendor contracts, field programs, creative production, tools, and collateral against plan.

Budget Tracking: Build and maintain a monthly budget tracker with visibility into committed spend, forecasted spend, and remaining budget by category — giving the Sr. Manager and broader leadership team a clear, current picture at all times.
