Strategic Digital Marketing/Omnichannel Manager

Overview

• The role is highly strategic—not operational, delivery, or program management focused.
• Candidates should have strong experience in digital marketing and omni-channel strategy, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry supporting both HCP (physician) and patient campaigns.
• Experience with multiple digital media channels (websites, email, CRM/SMS) and optimizing user journeys to drive customer engagement and conversion.
• Should be comfortable making recommendations, building stakeholder relationships, and influencing brand teams.
• Communication, stakeholder management, and ability to present ideas/strategies are highly valued.
• Prioritization skills are important—must be able to balance needs across HCP and patient campaigns and multiple brand initiatives.

Qualifications

• Agency experience is highly preferred due to the fast-paced, client-service nature (but strong pharma in-house experience is also considered). Requires a more specialized combination of omnichannel strategy, connected customer experience, HCP/pharma expertise, and strategic leadership.
• Work experience shows hands-on digital strategy leadership.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience required; educational background is less important than direct experience.
• Must be able to work onsite in Wilmington, DE at least 3 days per week (60% in-office policy), but can be flexible for the right candidate and open to 2 days if needed—however, full-time conversion would require 3 days in office.
• Candidates must be strategic, not just operational or technical; must demonstrate digital expertise relevant to customer engagement strategy (not program management or purely operational backgrounds).
• Previous experience at digital/healthcare agencies like Digitas Health, Click Health, or Publicis is acceptable.
