Retail Sales Associate & Social Media Marketing Specialist

Location: TNC Chocolate Lab - 195 Manorhaven Boulevard, Port Washington, NY 11050

Schedule: Full time, Tuesday-Saturday

Reports to: Store Manager

The Chocolate Lab is a mission-driven chocolate and gift shop that employs and trains young adults with autism and similar developmental disabilities.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, outgoing team member to support in-store sales, outside sales, and social media marketing as we continue to grow our community presence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, inclusive, and engaging customer service in-store
• Drive retail sales by building strong relationships with customers
• Support outside sales efforts, including outreach to local businesses, boutiques, and community partners
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities and partnerships
• Create and manage social media content for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
• Promote products, seasonal campaigns, and Chocolate Lab’s social mission
• Respond to customer inquiries in-store and on social media platforms
• Track sales and engagement metrics to support growth goals

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales, customer service, marketing, or outside sales
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience with social media platforms and content creation
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Canva, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
• Passion for customer service and mission-driven work

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with outside or wholesale sales
• Paid social media advertising experience
• Basic photography or video editing skills
• Background in retail or digital marketing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
