Location: Beaverton, OR

Contract length: ~11 months

Schedule: Hybrid in Beaverton, OR (WFH Fridays)

Pay: $40-42.67/hr, DOE

The Planet Group is looking for a Marketing Operations Specialist to join our well-known retail brand on a roughly 11-month contract! This role is 40 hours per week and will be hybrid in Beaverton, OR, working remotely on Fridays. This role plays a key part in enabling the team to work more efficiently, stay aligned, and focus on delivering against the broader enterprise processes.

Marketing Operations Specialist Description

  • Build, refine, and maintain the central process hub
  • Create clarity, visibility, and operational excellence across CODE milestones and cross-functional workflows
  • Own and refine the existing Airtable base to serve as the central merchandising operations hub
  • Refine and structure the Airtable base to clearly reflect all CODE milestones, with appropriate detail and context
  • Ensure the base includes a comprehensive and maintained project list
  • Establish the Airtable base as the single source of truth for merchandising operations
  • Create clear, intuitive organization so the hub is easy to use and navigate
  • Build clarity and shared understanding around CODE processes
  • Ensure the hub includes a clearly maintained CODE calendar, documentation and explanations of all CODE gates, including what they are, what is required, and timing
  • Ensure that it links to key Box folders and helpful resources tied to CODE milestones and gates
  • Support project visibility and execution by maintaining robust project tracking within Airtable
  • Manage the Chongqing Excellence project list
  • Ensure each project includes Gantt-style timelines, clear project status indicators, and key milestones and dependencies
  • Keep timelines and statuses up to date to support leadership and cross-functional alignment
  • Provide operational support FW and AP business integration leads for the two CODE gates owned by the merchandising team.
  • Support setup and coordination of cross-functional meetings tied to these gates
  • Own and maintain relevant distribution lists
  • Help ensure consistent communication and follow-through across functions
  • Take ownership of keeping the hub current, accurate, and usable over time
  • Regularly update content to reflect changes in timelines, projects, or processes
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or opportunities to improve clarity and usability
  • Partner with the team to continuously refine how the hub supports day-to-day work
