2027 Social Media & Marketing Assistant

The Foster School of Business Career Services Center is looking for a part-time Social Media & Marketing Assistant from January 2027 - December 2027. Expected commitment is 8-10 hours/week during the school year (with the option to extend over the summer).

The main duties of this role

• Manage content calendar for Foster Career Services on Instagram and LinkedIn covering relevant events, opportunities and career related media
• Create graphics, social media posts and short form video content for all platforms
• Track social media analytics and engage with online community members
• Content planning and writing for the Foster Futures newsletter

Platforms this role will use: Instagram, LinkedIn, Buffer, Later, Canva, Handshake, Bitly

We're looking for a student worker who likes to keep up with social media trends, understands marketing strategy and has basic computer skills (Microsoft Suite, Google Drive, etc.) The ideal candidate is organized, creative, comfortable working independently and is capable of pulling information from multiple sources.

Important Details to Note

• This position takes place on campus, with remote options
• In Person interviews for this position will take place November 19-20
• This role will be on contract during regular school year weeks from January 2027 - December 2027. Summer is not required, but available!
