Your Role
The Chief of Staff to the Chief Marketing & Customer Officer (CMCO) serves as a strategic thought partner and operational leader, helping drive the agenda, priorities, and effectiveness of the Marketing & Customer organization with consistency across all countries globally. This role is responsible for translating strategy into execution, ensuring tight alignment across brand marketing, customer analytics, loyalty, media, creative, digital, marketing operations, and cross-functional business partners. The Chief of Staff creates leverage for the CMCO by driving business rhythms, accelerating decision-making, managing critical initiatives, and ensuring both the CMCO and the organization are focused on the highest-impact work.
The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen, organizational effectiveness expertise, strategic thinking, exceptional execution skills, and strong communication skills – both written and verbal. They are equally comfortable in executive discussions, operational reviews, and cross-functional working sessions.
Your Impact
Drive Strategic Priorities
- Lead special projects and enterprise initiatives on behalf of the CMCO.
- Translate business priorities into actionable plans with clear milestones and accountability.
- Monitor progress against key objectives and elevate risks and opportunities.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration on key initiatives.
- Leads objective setting and cascade process.
- Lead the annual Budget process, working across all Marketing Functions and partnering closely with Finance to ensure our strategic priorities are supported accordingly with an evolving media and marketing investment mix.
Enhance CMCO and Organizational Effectiveness
- Partner with the CMCO Executive Assistant on maximizing CMCO calendar/time – all in support of increasing her personal effectiveness
- Lead operating cadences, planning processes, and executive business reviews.
- Build mechanisms that improve prioritization, decision-making, and resource allocation.
- Drive clarity across teams on goals, accountabilities, and ways of working.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes and increase organizational productivity
- Partners with HR on team effectiveness and culture initiatives.
- Partner with VS&Co communications on vetting and securing key speaking engagements for CMCO and her leads that reinforce VS&Co. functional expertise and leadership.
Communication and Governance
- Manages team cadences and forums such as leadership team meetings, all hands, etc.
- Ensure decisions and priorities are communicated clearly and consistently.
- Develop executive briefing materials and talking points.
- Ensure the CMCO is well prepared for key meetings.
- Oversee development and execution of all Internal Marketing Communications and Meetings including Quarterly Town Halls, Seasonal Offsites, etc.
- Manage public business communications on social channels, aligned with brand strategic messages, on social channels including LinkedIn – partner with VS&Co comms as needed

Minimum Salary: $152,300.00
Maximum Salary: $216,090.00
VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.
Qualifications
Your Experience
- 8-10+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, business operations, organizational effectiveness, marketing, merchandising, retail leadership, or related fields.
- Experience supporting C-suite executives or leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
- Retail, consumer, fashion, or brand experience for global organizations strongly preferred.
