We are in search of a dynamic Vice President of Marketing to lead our talented marketing team spread across San Francisco and Sydney. In this influential role, you will be instrumental in shaping the Customer Insights Hub category and bringing our marketing vision to fruition. Your extensive expertise in growth-stage SaaS and Product-Led Growth (PLG) will be critical as you develop compelling narratives that engage both end-users and industry leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a vibrant marketing team of over 20 professionals in San Francisco and Sydney, including heads of brand, demand generation, and web engineering, while fostering talent development and collaboration.
- Collaborate with the VP of Go-To-Market, CEO, and key stakeholders in Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Operations to create and implement a robust marketing strategy.
- Define and refine our marketing vision and strategy, orchestrating growth programs that align with our organizational objectives.
- Continuously adapt storytelling techniques based on audience engagement, market trends, and ROI analysis, while establishing metrics linking marketing initiatives to measurable outcomes.
- Cultivate a culture of innovation, encouraging calculated risk-taking and celebrating lessons learned from failures.
- Manage the marketing budget efficiently, optimizing ROI alongside your team and advocating for investments in promising opportunities.
Required Skills
- 14+ years of marketing experience, with leadership roles in both early-stage startups and established firms employing PLG strategies.
- Proven track record in a similar marketing leadership position within a growth-stage SaaS environment.
- Strong knowledge of sophisticated multi-channel marketing strategies in a SaaS context, along with mentorship capabilities for team members on campaign development.
- Expertise in demand generation, coupled with skillful storytelling and communication of product value propositions.
- A data-driven mindset with a comprehensive understanding of the marketing funnel, utilizing data insights for campaign optimization.
- An entrepreneurial spirit, showcasing flexibility and resourcefulness, while effectively collaborating across all organizational levels.
- A steadfast commitment to achieving measurable commercial results that add value to our organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.

- Competitive base salary ranging from \(275,000 to \)300,000, determined by location, experience, and job-related skills.
