ACTIVATION & EXPERIENCE MANAGER (Match Day)

POSITON:
The Activation & Experience Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the match day experience including fan fest, sponsorship and concourse activations and Club Ambassadors. This role will also serve as the primary liaison with Snapdragon Stadium for all non-match day specific events. This position will report to the Director of Operations.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Assist with the development and production of different levels of SDFC Fan Fest for all levels of matches.
- Serve as the primary liaison from load in to load out for all aspects of SDFC Fan Fest including but not limited to layouts, budgets, vendor management and on-site execution.
- Manage all aspects of match day activations at Snapdragon Stadium
- Serve as primary liaison with Snapdragon Stadium for non-match day related items
- Oversee part-time Ambassador schedules, deployment, budgets, and calendars to ensure the department is functioning efficiently and effectively
- Manage and coordinate concourse activations on match day for any internal departments, SDFC Partners and external partners. Source additional vendors as needed.
- Responsible to submission of MLS weekly submittals
- Manage and coordinate all SDFC non-match day events that take place at Snapdragon Stadium, including but not limited to, fan appreciation, sponsor obligations, premium events and more. Including operational planning, budget tracking, and on-site execution.
- Support with events at Kettner Offices and SDFC Training Facility
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates can meet the qualifications for this role with a combination of education, experience and skills.
- Experience equivalent or bachelor’s degree in business, Sports Management, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of event management, sponsorship activation and/or fan experience roles
- Knowledge of event planning, safety and security practices, fan experience practices
- Previous experience overseeing multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to work in fast paced environments.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
- High level of professionalism and discretion, particularly when handling sensitive information.
