Printemps NYC is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Visual Manager to oversee and execute the visual merchandising and display strategies in our flagship sotre.
This role will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of visual presentation, aligning with the global guidelines of Printemps, and creating an engaging, luxurious shopping experience for our customers.
The Visual Manager will collaborate closely with the all the departments ensuring the seamless execution of visual displays, promotional setups, and seasonal campaigns.
Visual Merchandising & Store Standards:
- Execute and maintain global visual merchandising guidelines in the store to ensure the brand’s visual identity is consistently reflected.
- Lead the planning and execution of visual displays, including seasonal campaigns, promotions, and product launches.
- Perform regular store assessments to ensure all displays and merchandising are aligned with visual standards and customer expectations.
- Ensure the store layout and product placements optimize customer flow and create an inspirational shopping environment.
- Maintain a hands-on approach with the installation and de-installation of displays, ensuring they are timely, high-quality, and meet visual standards.
- Ensure all store equipment and visual tools are maintained and up to date, and oversee the ordering and management of display materials.
Collaboration with Commercial and Marketing Teams:
- Work closely with the other departments to discuss product layouts, top sellers, and areas for visual enhancement.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to execute store-specific campaigns and promotions.
- Ensure the display of best-selling and top-performing products is prioritized in key visual spots within the store.
- Assist with the execution of exclusive events, new season launches, and VIP activities in partnership with the store’s Event & PR teams.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and manage the visual merchandising team : 2 people, ensuring they have in-depth knowledge of company policies, visual merchandising standards, and seasonal guidelines.
- Provide ongoing training, support, and guidance to the visual team to foster creativity and ensure the highest standards of visual presentation.
- Motivate and inspire the team to contribute new ideas and innovative concepts that enhance the store’s visual appeal.
Operational and Budget Management:
- Monitor and manage the visual merchandising budget, ensuring expenses align with planned forecasts and financial guidelines.
- Track and report on visual merchandising expenditures and manage the allocation of resources for store displays, events, and seasonal setups.
- Oversee the logistics and coordination of décor shipments, ensuring the correct quantity and quality of materials are delivered.
Communication and Reporting:
- Ensure consistent communication with store management, marketing, and operations teams regarding visual merchandising updates, guidelines, and new initiatives.
- Regularly report on the status of visual merchandising projects, including updates on store assessments, installations, and promotional activations.
- Ensure that all internal documents, guidelines, and visual reports are up-to-date and easily accessible to the team.
Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of experience in visual merchandising, preferably within the luxury fashion or retail sector.
- Proven experience in managing visual merchandising teams and executing high-end store displays.
- Strong project management skills with an eye for detail and a passion for luxury retail.
- Creative, strategic, and results-driven mindset with a keen sense of current trends and luxury retail aesthetics.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Flexibility to work outside regular business hours, including weekends, depending on project needs.
