OverviewAs a Senior Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategy for the visual solutions business for Panasonic Connect. The visual solutions business sells a wide range of premium hardware, software, and solutions, including but not limited to Projectors, Flat Panel Display, and workflow software.
Responsibilities
Panasonic has a long and respected history in manufacturing high quality and trusted solutions used by demanding customers in many applications across industries including entertainment, high education, corporate, house of worship, rental & staging, and sports.
In collaboration with the business unit, you will develop a wide range of B2B marketing programs to create awareness, acquire new customers, and generate leads for the business. You will develop marketing strategy to support not only existing product portfolio and key vertical markets, but also the launch and growth of any new product portfolio while driving expansion into new markets.
Marketing programs will include advertising/sales promotions, tradeshows, content development, messaging and positioning, and collateral creation. You will work closely with the shared services marketing team (digital, events, creatives services, media) and well as with the visual sales team, product team, finance, procurement, and legal to develop multi-channel marketing programs. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing at Panasonic Connect and the business unit leadership team to align the marketing strategy, tactics, and you will oversee implementation.
What You'll Get To DO:
Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive growth, engagement, and awareness, to support the business.
- Create a comprehensive marketing plan that aligns with the company’s business objectives, customer insights, and market trends.
- Develop, launch, and manage marketing campaigns in multiple channels, including digital, trade shows, and events. Own the campaign’s objectives, audience, creative direction, budget, and timelines.
- Manage the planning of tradeshows, and proprietary events, working with various stakeholders to align priorities, messaging, booth concept and design.
- Collaborate with the shared service team to create compelling sales and marketing content to drive engagement (e.g. case studies, thought leadership content, videos, ad creative)
- Develop and execute a go-to-market plan for new product launches, including promotional tactics, ensuring the messaging reaches the intended audience.
- Develop clear and compelling messaging that resonates with the target audience and execute on messaging thru various platforms including social media channels, web, and email marketing.
- Work with media agency for an impactful media approach and effective market communication
Coordinate and collaborate across departments to ensure the seamless execution of marketing strategies, campaigns, and initiatives
- Serve as an internal advocate for customer needs, ensuring broad awareness of, and empathy for, customer pain points.
- Ensure that marketing efforts are aligned with sales goals and strategies.
- Work closely with the product teams to understand the specifications, benefits, and differentiating factors of new products and collaborating with them to define the key value proposition.
- Develop creative briefs for new marketing assets and partner with copywriting, design, and video teams to oversee reviews, approval, and execution.
Give clear direction to shared services team on overall strategy for paid media advertisement and lead generation initiatives.
- Lead internal communications efforts and Foster a culture of collaboration by engaging with key stakeholders across departments to drive continuous improvement.
Budget and KPI Management
- Track the marketing budget that supports all marketing operating expense related to marketing plan development. Help onboard vendors, ensure payment to vendors, and work closely with procurement and finance teams.
- Guide preparation of marketing activity reports and present to management with key performance indicators (KPIs), such as lead generation, sales conversions, web traffic, and adjust strategies based on these insights.
What You'll Bring:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field required, MBA preferred.
- 5-10 yrs. of B2B marketing and demand generation experience with a proven track record of delivering business results.
- Minimum of 3 years of Professional AV product marketing or marketing communications to end users and channel partners.
- Thorough knowledge of digital marketing and lead generation best practices, as well as strong project management skills.
- Experience in Professional AV solution marketing and storytelling to all members of the customer value chain in diverse industries.
- Professional AV tradeshow, field marketing, and sales enablement experience.
- A solid technical understanding of Professional AV solutions is highly desired.
- Experience briefing in creative projects to marketing shared services stakeholders or agencies and overseeing execution.

- Effective and professional speaker at including press events, tradeshows, partners events, and internal meetings.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to work independently and communicate with all levels of an organization
- Solid prioritization and organizational skills with the ability to make decisions and resolve issues while working under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Effective written and spoken English communication skills with all levels of an organization

The pay range of $90,000 –$130,000 is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives
