Paid Search Marketing Specialist (PPC)
Position Summary:
The PPC Expert is a dynamic role for us, focusing on developing and optimizing pay-per-click campaigns to drive measurable results and maximize ROI. You'll play a key part in designing, managing, and scaling campaigns—particularly for digital products like eBooks—while collaborating with our marketing team to ensure alignment with business goals.
Typical Work Schedule:Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
Compensation: $76k-$80k (dependent on experience and/or qualifications)
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Development & Management:
- Plan, develop, and manage PPC campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads and Bing Ads
- Design and optimize Ad creatives tailored for Home Services like Plumbing, HVAC and Electrical
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research and implement bidding strategies to maximize campaign effectiveness
- Perform A/B testing for ads, landing pages, and targeting strategies to improve conversion rates
Performance Analysis & Optimization:
- Analyze campaign performance using key metrics (CTR, CPA, ROAS, etc.) and provide actionable insights for improvement
- Continuously monitor and optimize campaigns to maximize ROI and achieve business goals
- Develop detailed reports showcasing performance trends, successes, and areas for improvement
Strategic Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging across all channels
- Identify new opportunities for PPC campaigns based on industry trends and business objectives
- Stay updated on PPC best practices and emerging trends to keep campaigns ahead of the curve
Other Digital Marketing Duties as Assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, advertising, or related field - OR - commensurate combined education & professional experience
- 3-5 years experience managing multiple (10+) concurrent PPC campaigns across platforms like Google Ads or Bing Ads,including creating/optimizing landing pages, whilstutilizing tracking and reporting tools
- 3-5 years experience with budgeted campaigns of $20K or more per month, utilizing demand generation tactics including PPC advertising, content marketing, email marketing, and webinars
- Experience utilizingstrong communication/collaborative systems protocolsacross different teams with diverse stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools like Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
- Certification in Google Ads (or similar PPC-related qualifications)
- Experience in Home Services; i.e., construction, trades, or related field
