LOCATION
Austin, Texas (Poppi HQ - Hybrid)
THE ROLE
As poppi's in-house Videographer, you will be responsible for filming and editing high-quality video content that supports our brand's vision and marketing strategies across social, events, and internal needs. You will report into the Creative Team, but collaborate closely with our Social Team to create compelling visual narratives for various platforms, ensuring our brand message is effectively communicated.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Content Creation: Film and edit engaging socially forward, video content for poppi social media, marketing campaigns, founder content, in-house projects, and events.
- Planning: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop ideas, storyboards, and shot lists for video projects that align with brand campaigns and goals. Understand equipment, lighting, and production needs
- Post-Production: Edit video footage using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) to produce polished, professional-quality videos appropriate for the platform, i.e. YouTube, TiktoK, etc.
- Video Innovation: Stay updated on video & social trends and techniques to continuously improve our content and explore new creative avenues that keep us on creating at the speed of culture.
- Equipment Management: Maintain and operate video equipment, ensuring all gear is up-to-date and in good working condition.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all video content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent look and feel across all platforms, under the guidance of creative director.
- Collaboration: Work closely with graphic designers, and other team members to create integrated multimedia campaigns. Encourage creative feedback, be nimble and flexible to change, and a true collaborator.
WHAT YOU BRING
- A portfolio showcasing previous video work is essential.
- Strong understanding of video production techniques, lighting, sound, and post-production processes.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Deep knowledge of social media trends and video formats for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Ability to take direction and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience in motion graphics and animation.
- Familiarity with photography and graphic design software (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Experience working in house on a creative team.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, ideally within a start-up.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
YOUR BACKGROUND
- 4+ years of experience as a videographer; socially prolific brand experience preferred.
- Proficiency in video editing software including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Travel on an as needed basis.
- Some lifting and the movement of moderate loads require 50-pound lifting requirement.
- Willingness to work outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, based on business demands.

COMPENSATION: Our comprehensive compensation package plays a big part in how we recognize you for the impact you have on our path to achieving our mission. For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $70,000 - $80,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.
