Starting base salary range for this position is $60,000-$70,000. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience. Full benefits are available and this position is eligible for the Staff level annual bonus program.
Summary Of Position
Responsible for supporting all aspects of email marketing programs. From scheduling and production through to execution, s/he will work with the Global Marketing Department to achieve measurable email marketing results. The ideal candidate must have email marketing experience with a deep knowledge of email marketing best practices. S/he will prepare and launch HTML emails and utilize Salesforce Account Engagement to deliver powerful and personalized experience to our customers.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal team members to develop and deploy effective email marketing campaigns with measurable results using Salesforce Account Engagement.
- Work closely with colleagues in the Marketing Department to develop and implement email marketing strategy and execute initiatives to meet their goals.
- Optimize emails using industry best practices, email drips and strategic A/B testing.
- Suggest innovative email experiences and share creative ideas to keep the team engaged and excited about email options.
- Present email marketing concepts and establish schedules and meet deadlines.
- Prepare email marketing campaigns for deployment, including proofreading content, optimizing and manipulating imagery, editing HTML, setting up promotions, and testing.
- Coordinate with internal staff and contractors to establish mailing schedules using Basecamp.
- Maintain performance reports tracking key email marketing metrics and communicate results with internal stakeholders.
- Analyze and monitor the latest email marketing trends and identify potential email marketing opportunities.
- Work with the Marketing department to determine appropriate email campaign send lists and utilize Salesforce to run list queries.
- Collaborate with and assist the Marketing Technology team on marketing automation setup, reporting and other projects.
- Assist with additional marketing services as needed.

Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, graphics, web, journalism or equivalent strongly preferred.
Experience Level
- Minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Technical Skills
- Experience coding responsive HTML/CSS email templates.
- Proficient in Salesforce Account Engagement or similar enterprise ESP.
- Experience working in Basecamp, ClickUp, or similar Project Management System.
- Functional experience with Adobe Photoshop.

- Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

- Good communications skills including excellent spelling, grammatical and proofreading skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in CAN-SPAM and GDPR or other regulations/laws related to privacy and email communications.
- Experience with email metrics and report creation.
- Experience with design and an eye for good design.
- Current and active Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Specialist or Consultant certification(s) from Salesforce.
