PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Development:
- Collaborate with other internal KMSUS teams as well as sister companies to produce high-quality content that aligns with business goals and target audiences' needs.
- Curate and review existing content to ensure relevance and value for customers
- Assist in the creation of marketing materials including brochures, presentations, newsletters, emails.
- Manage content distribution channels, including email, newsletters, social media accounts, and third-party platforms to increase reach and engagement.
- Use and apply techniques in content such as keywords and links to help search engines crawl and rank content higher in search results
- Leverage content development by using and applying SEO techniques, keywords, and links to help search engines crawl and rank content higher in search results
Tradeshows:
- Oversees logistical needs prior to, during, and after the events (booking shows, hotel arrangements, shipping, organizing and requesting marketing collateral, processing payments, etc.) in accordance with marketing strategy, budget, and brand guidelines.
- Ensure all booth space, equipment, electricity, carpeting, etc. are ordered and paid for in advance and track shipments of booth kits and equipment to and from shows.
- Maintain tradeshow warehouse equipment and ensure demo equipment and marketing materials are delivered on time
- Maintain close communication with all parties involved in the tradeshow planning (external vendors, agency, sales, and technical teams) to ensure planning and execution are being performed according to plan and business needs are met.
- Partner with the sales team to ensure successful lead capture.
- Create follow-up communications to new leads to engage and increase communication and brand awareness.
- Create pre and post-show reports along with suggested improvements and enhancements for future tradeshows.
- Maintain accurate and current documentation for all tradeshows/roadshow processes.
- Work closely with other marketing team members and operation team members to ensure leads are imported correctly and in a timely manner into the marketing platform and CRM.
Media Placement
- Along with Marketing Manager work closely with external publications in the strategy and necessary media allocations to increase brand awareness and leads.
- Execute necessary tasks to fulfill media needs for marketing campaigns including, image requests, content development, banners, email, etc. on time and within budget.
- Work closely with vendors and agency to ensure deadlines are executed on schedule and according to company´s guidelines.
CRM/Hubspot Support:
- Review incoming RFQs:
- Log on monthly tracking file
- Monitor daily trends and report on abnormalities
- Send out market RFQs to the correct regions and input
- Clean up missing or incorrect data
- Remove unsubscribed/bounced contact from Hubspot database
- Review non RFQ leads
- Forward to RSMs to follow up
- List building and segmentation using industry. Business unit and Application information.
- Track and report RFQ count from different markets and for monthly reports.
- Segment lists based on behaviors like past email engagement and website interactions.
- Clean and format leads collected from seminars/tradeshows and/or publications and upload them into. HubSpot.
- Provide formatted lists to operation teams to be uploaded to the CRM.
Social Media
- Work with Marketing Manager to create a business plan for social media campaigns
- Generate, curate, and publish content for social media platforms including
- Track, report, and leverage analytics to assess the success of campaigns and optimize them.
- Work with agency to optimize social media platforms including paid social, with an eye towards innovation and evolving use of platforms
Data analysis:
- Work with Marketing Manager, team members and agency to produce detailed reports that outline the effectiveness of marketing strategies using key performance indicators
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 1-5 years’ relevant Marketing experience
- Understanding of digital marketing across various channels including PPC (AdWords, LinkedIn), SEO, display ads, remarketing, blogs, e-mail, social, and other online channels
- Good understanding of B2B events & merchandising techniques
- Knowledge and understanding of basic concepts of loyalty, CRM, gamification & B2C marketing
- Knowledge of online marketing best practices and current trends for the American market.
- B2B Marketing experience, especially for analytical instruments, is preferred.
