JOB DESCRIPTION
An employer is looking to hire an SEO Specialist to their team. The SEO Specialist will help execute and manage clients’ SEO campaigns. They will conduct an initial website review and technical audit to compare clients’ sites to their competitors and will handle various strategic optimizations to improve organic rankings and increase site traffic for clients. They will also analyze trends in reporting, prepare interna/external reporting, and provide recommendations. They will be responsible for implementing best white-hat SEO strategies to improve clients’ overall organic rankings, developing SEO content strategies, creating content briefs, and writing new/updated website copy. They will identify link building opportunities and engage in link building for client sites, update client webpages and blog articles per SEO best practices and meet with clients on a monthly or quarterly basis to review SEO reporting.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Working knowledge of WordPress and other CMSs, with the ability to make changes to a webpage (broken links, error codes, etc.)
- Experience using SEMrush and other SEO tools
- Must understand SEO best practices for on-page, off-page, technical, and content production Experience using Google products (GA4, Search Console, Google Business Profiles)
- Bachelor’s Degree – Journalism, Business, or Marketing preferred
