What You’ll Do:
As a
Community Event Assistant, you’ll play a key role in organizing and executing outreach events to advocate for nonprofit causes. Responsibilities include:
- Event Coordination: Assist in planning and managing community and retail-based events
- Public Engagement: Interact with event attendees to share information about nonprofit missions and encourage support through donations
- On-Site Support: Ensure event logistics run smoothly, from setup to breakdown
- Advocacy: Represent nonprofits with passion and professionalism, fostering strong relationships with community members
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside a driven team to meet fundraising goals and improve campaign outcomes
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outgoing and approachable personality with a passion for community service
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required
Experience in customer service, event planning, or fundraising is a plus but not required.
