At Dress for Success Houston, we play a pivotal role in empowering women in the Greater Houston area. As the Marketing and Communications Manager you will play a key role in supporting Dress for Success Houston’s mission by enhancing our visibility and engagement across various channels. Reporting to the Director of Development, this individual will be responsible for crafting compelling stories, managing digital platforms, creating marketing materials, and supporting event initiatives to advance the organization’s fundraising goals.

· Manage Dress for Success Houston’s social media engagement, and maintain the website consistently updated with fresh, relevant content.
· Produce compelling, high-quality content across multiple mediums to elevate Dress for Success Houston’s brand and mission.
· Create content for bi-monthly newsletters and ensure alignment with our strategic goals.
· Design, create, and proof board reports in collaboration with the Director of Development and President.
· Write scripts for videos and event presentations that inspire and inform.
· Execute online fundraising or voting campaigns with measurable success in engagement and funds raised.
· Develop and implement event-specific campaigns to increase participation and awareness
· Maintain a cohesive visual identity across all materials focusing on maintaining brand consistency across all digital and print collateral.
· Work with people across different sectors, including corporate and social service agencies.
What Do You Bring?
Your background includes:
· A passion for helping women succeed in work and in life.
· Bachelor’s degree in communications/marketing.
· Five years of experience in communications/marketing/public relations, preferably in the non-profit sector.
· Proficient writing, copy, editing and proof-reading skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Logistics and time management.
· Excellent organizational skills, with ability to multi-task comfortably.
· Problem solving with creative solutions and technological curiosity.
· Proficient with Canva, Square Space, Creative Cloud, Microsoft 365, Adobe, and Zoom.
· A polished, professional appearance and manner.
· Reliable transportation with current driver’s license and automotive insurance to represent agency at offsite events.
· Flexibility to work at least one weeknight evening and one Saturday per month.
· The ability to lift at least 40 pounds.
Preferred
· Salesforce or CRM database experience.
· Project Management.
