The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
This role can be based in San Francisco, Sunnyvale, Mountain View or New York.
The Channel Strategy and Operations (CSO) team at LinkedIn is a central function within LinkedIn’s marketing department, working horizontally across all lines of business globally. We sit within the larger Growth, Performance, and Operations (GPO) org, and are responsible for a large Paid Media budget. The team is responsible for developing strategies, plans, and partnerships that enable us to drive both short and long term value for the business.
We are seeking qualified candidates for the role of Paid Media Manager, LinkedIn Marketing Solutions. This person will be an integral member of the centralized digital marketing team, which advances thought leadership on paid media strategies and implements best practices to scale growth in LinkedIn’s global businesses. In this role, you will work closely with our Marketing Solutions business unit marketing and cross-functional partners to scale our paid media program substantially and grow revenue across all paid media channels.
The ideal candidate is a data- and audience-driven marketer who enjoys questioning the status quo, building strategic partnerships, influencing decision-making without authority, and operating within imperfect data environments. This candidate should 1) have deep experience in full-funnel brand and performance marketing in B2B or SaaS, 2) have substantially contributed to the growth of a global media program and 3) have worked on accounts with large budgets ($50M+) and programs that exceeded ROI targets across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities:
Strategy and stakeholder communications and management:
- Serve as a trusted partner between the paid media team and the assigned business unit / stakeholder
- Orchestrate collaboration between and integration of all paid media channels to ensure optimal results.
- Influence decisions and drive process and strategy change (as needed) with internal stakeholders (own team, business units)
- Drive cross-organizational alignment by contributing to strategic discussions and business reviews
- Make recommendations on new and emerging paid media channels and tactics
Paid media program management:
- Manage digital paid media agency, ensuring operational excellence in campaign optimization, testing, and expansion while driving agency to be proactive, creative, and efficient
- Coordinate campaign launches including creative project management with business unit partners, agency partners, and external media partners
- Conduct competitive intelligence scans/benchmarking and develop strategies to adapt to changing environment
- Analyze campaign performance on daily, weekly & monthly basis; share and present clear paid media insights, takeaways and future optimizations to drive growth for the business
- Provide performance analyses and make spend shift / optimization recommendations across all channels
- Develop forecasts and ad-hoc projections for spend, revenue and ROI
- Drive continuous improvement through implementation of new and creative ideas; develop a robust test and learn plan
- Monitor and manage campaigns to meet and exceed targets for conversions and ROI within predetermined budgets
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in marketing or related field
- 5+ years of digital marketing experience across various digital marketing channels, leading full-funnel media strategy, A/B testing, scaling & optimizing spend and driving ROI
- 3+ years of experience managing or working within an ad agency
Preferred Experience
- Clear communication and presentation skills to leadership level audiences (able to clearly articulate complex dependencies, solutions and digital marketing strategies)
- Ability to drive influence in the creative development and research process through the lens of media and data
- Able to drive tactical campaign execution, analyze performance, solve complex problems and drive results
- Working through how to capitalize on new growth opportunities to scale businesses through a structured, curious, audience-first and data-driven approach
- Proactive and resourceful attitude, independently taking initiative and leadership
- Ability to effectively engage with and drive cross-functional teams to align around and achieve shared objectives, particularly as it relates to paid media strategy
- Grasp of measurement and how it ties back to marketing objectives; MMM experience a plus

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The pay range for this role is $97,000 to $151,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
