ILIA is seeking a Manager, Social Content that champions customer and culture-first creative thinking. We’re looking for a talented, multidisciplinary creative who can ideate, shoot and design and edit social-first content to tell our brand stories and grow our social presence as well as support in the creation of a content pipeline to fuel cross-functional needs. A clear grasp of the social media landscape is crucial paired alongside ILIA creative best practices. This role is equal parts technical and creative—it requires the precise eye of an editor and the ability to quickly grasp the ILIA voice to speak to a diverse beauty community across ages, shades, and skin types. This role will report to the Senior Director of Social and Influencer.

Key Responsibilities
- Content Strategy: Lead the development of creative content concepts for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, and TikTok, ensuring alignment with brand narrative.
- Trend Analysis: Stay updated on social and cultural trends, translating them into relevant content for our community.
- Creative Development: Brainstorm, plan, produce, and edit social media content, utilizing skills in video shooting, editing, and graphic design. Ensure the ILIA voice is engaging, inclusive, and comes to life consistently across all brand touchpoints
- Content Management: Maintain a creative asset library and fuel the content pipeline; share assets with creative, e-commerce, and retail teams.
- Collaboration: Work with the DTC team to optimize content for paid campaigns, aligning with email marketing timelines.
- Production Oversight: Own the digital content production schedule, leading meetings and managing logistics for shoots, including casting, securing locations and talent agreements.
- Visual Expression: Partner with brand and creative teams to evolve our visual identity on social media; source creative content from photographers and influencers.
- Design Creation: Create engaging designs for social media stories using tools like Photoshop, InDesign, or Canva.
- Editorial Scheduling: Curate daily editorial content for Instagram and TikTok, ensuring alignment with best practices and audience preferences.
Job requirements
- 4+ years of experience in social media marketing with a CPG brand
- Immersed in the TikTok landscape and understands the algorithm, best practices, and trending content for creating engaging content
- Strategic, proactive and has a keen attention to detail
- Creative, innovative personality that is always thinking outside of the box
- Strong photography and videography skills—ability to tell stories and create compelling content
- Well-versed on the latest social media trends, platforms, and services
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Final Cut Pro or similar editing software
- Must live in or near Los Angeles, CA or New York, NY
