Main Purpose Of The Social Media Coordinator, Instagram Role
This is a full time role for a candidate who will report into the Sr. Social Media Manager and will support the Instagram Social Media Manager in running the REVOLVE Instagram channel as well as REVOLVE owned brand Instagram channels (L’Acadamie, GRLFRND, Well Being). Working closely with the Brand Marketing and Merchandising team, the Instagram team will strengthen REVOLVE’s visual presence, voice and brand equity with our audience. This role is creative and executional, and will also contribute to broader storytelling across a variety of channels – including REVOLVE.com blog and REVOLVE YouTube – by way of copywriting, content creation and more.
Major Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Work closely with the Instagram Social Media Manager to establish an annual social calendars that includes all of REVOLVE’s key commerce initiatives, brand initiatives and events
- Contribute to the development of detailed social campaigns for key brand initiatives
- Plan, schedule and post daily Instagram story content, ensuring they serve merchandising /business goals
- Write compelling, on-brand copy – often under tight deadlines – that fit the specific goals of each initiative
- Attend REVOLVE events / editorial shoots to capture video content and edit for reels, as needed
- Support community management / audience interaction, as needed
- Contribute to creative brainstorms to develop new content concepts
- Support the day-to-day posting and performance monitoring to ensure creative quality and cohesion
- Work closely with Brand Marketing cross-functional teams (Influencer Relations, Events, Partnerships) to ensure excellent social integration and support for events and marketing campaigns
- Quarterly competitive research to identify new opportunities, messaging and creative approaches
Required Competencies
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
- Expertise in Instagram and TikTok is a must
- Passion for Fashion, Beauty and Pop Culture
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Extremely organized, detail-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Strong collaborator and team-player
- Possess an eye for aesthetic curation and cohesive visual and written storytelling
- Knowledgeable in a variety of photo / video editing apps for the creation of social assets
- Experience in social content creation (photo, video)
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of social media experience
- Expertise in Instagram; Strong knowledge of TikTok and YouTube
- Strong knowledge of the influencers and designers aligned with REVOLVE
- Demonstrates strong ability for iPhone filming and editing
- Proficiency in project management tools a plus (Airtable, Dash Hudson, Opal, etc)
- Bachelor’s degree a plus

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Revolve includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.
A reasonable estimate of the current salary rate is $23.00/hour to $26.00/hour.
