The Manager, Partnership Marketing role will be primarily responsible for managing their assigned client portfolio by planning, executing, servicing, measurement reporting, and day-to-day management of partnership activation while supporting the Director, Partnership Marketing, and the Sponsorship Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent Angel City FC as the main contact for assigned corporate partners
- Manage sponsorship activations by working with other departments to ensure a high level of execution, best-in-class customer service, and fulfillment of corporate partner deliverables that may include, but not limited to, IP rights, game day, and in-market activations, television, radio, digital, social, print media, tickets, hospitality, and special events
- Plan and execute events, promotions, experiences, and community activities on behalf of partners and Angel City FC
- Develop and implement new and creative marketing and activation strategies based on partners' needs and potential new revenue and upsell opportunities
- Work with internal departments to compile and share research, data, success rate, and market trends with partners
- Consistently evaluate current partner goals and objectives and recommend additional assets for their consideration
- Contribute to and manage assigned department projects, which may include signage tracking, digital implementation and frequency of partner posts, media inventory management, etc.
- Build and support relationships with all agencies, day-to-day contacts, and account executives on behalf of Angel City FC
- Create and present execution recaps and selling presentations
- Attend all future home games and special events to manage assigned partner activations
- Stay up to date with market trends and provide recommendations to the department and applicable clients to ensure Angel City FC's continued success and forward-thinking
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-4 years of high-level account management and/or partnership activation experience; sports sponsorship preferred
- Ability to establish strong relationships, effectively manage expectations, and provide information with extraordinary courtesy and tact while safeguarding confidentiality
- Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal
- Ability to establish priorities and courses of action for handling multiple tasks and projects
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
- Expert time management skills
- Self-starter mentality
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of sponsorship measurement tools and processes
- Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment
- Be a team player and contribute to the general success of Angel City FC across all facets, including positively representing Angel City FC among all corporate and community partners
- NWSL and professional soccer knowledge preferred

Compensation
In addition to the benefits above, this role pays $68,640 + commission.
