SUMMARY
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to manage brand communications for a new, high-profile celebrity haircare and beauty brand. The brand will be launching in August 2024, in major retail outlets and DTC.The ideal candidate will be a passionate beauty marketer, with an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work in agile environments. This role will be responsible for executing brand strategies, marketing plans, and product innovation launches to drive brand growth, with a focus on PR, external comms, and retail excellence. They will work cross functionally to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with the cross functional teams to set yearly brand and marketing strategies for the brand ensuring alignment with all key stake holders
- Own the brand guidelines to guarantee the brand identity, ensuring that all actions are in line with the sense of purpose while nourishing the brand
Collaborate closely with Product Marketing to ensure brand message is aligned and communicated to consumers
Coordinate cross-functionally and own brand guidelines to ensure cohesive branding across campaign assets, retail, eCommerce, CX and social for cohesiveness and consistency
- Lead PR and partnerships strategy and agency relationship, maintain mediarelationships to create a positive external and internal image associated with brand recognition.
- Identify and manage strategic partnerships and sponsorships that align with the brand’s values and objectives to drive awareness for the brand
- Support Brand Director in growth of core brand portfolios via social media management, digital & e-commerce, PR and executing omni-channel 360 global marketing plans
- Lead go-to-market efforts for new product launches
- Manage the collection and analysis of consumer market insights and competitors, sharing findings with Senior Management and Product Development teams to ensure the consistency of new product development.
- Develop brand collateral and copywriting for a variety of marketing channels
- Lead brand’s retail execution
- Remain up to date on beauty and personal care industry/consumer/shopper trends. Understand the market & customers clearly through conducting analysis and reports which enable to quickly react to changing trends and use insights to influence organization and unlock growth
- Deliver category and competitive analysis reporting, including brand performance via IRI data
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 5 Years of Brand & Marketing Experience
- Minimum of 2 Years in Haircare Category
- Strong experience in brand management and PR
- Experience with broader Beauty & Personal Care Industries Preferred
