CREATIVE DIRECTOR - AMANDA UPRICHARD, a leading NYC-based contemporary fashion brand, is on the hunt for a visionary Creative Director to spearhead our creative department. We are a dynamic, female-owned company situated in the vibrant heart of the Garment Center, NYC. Our brand graces top-tier platforms like Shopbop and Revolve, alongside prominent department and specialty stores nationwide.
This is a full-time position requiring office presence in NYC.

YOU WILL SUPERVISE:
The growing Creative Department (currently only one in-house Creative Production Coordinator), but we are interested in building out a team with graphic design and copywriters.
OVERALL JOB DESCRIPTION:
As the Creative Director, you will be the driving force behind our brand’s growth, crafting groundbreaking marketing strategies, fostering customer connections, and keeping us at the cutting edge of industry trends. You will shepherd our brand through growth and develop new standards as we look to apply our new brand guideline through new ecom photography, campaign shoots, etc. You will be a key player in helping shape the future of the brand, by helping us lay a new foundation both in the team as well as the processes and positivity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Develop and execute comprehensive creative plans, encompassing campaigns, lookbooks, ecom, and all channel touchpoints.
● Roll out the new brand guidelines across all key marketing channels, with an eye towards elevation.
● Ensure consistent brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity across all marketing channels inclusive of homepage, emails, paid, organic social, and beyond.
● Provide direction and guidance to graphic designers and copywriters, developing and managing processes to ensure all 360-marketing channel needs are met.
● Work alongside the Marketing Director to react to analytics and data insights to inform new creative asset development.
● Provide support as art director for seasonal photoshoots and all on-location shoots.
● Liaise with external creative agencies and partners (producers, hair & makeup, location scouts, etc.) as needed, depending on the project.
● Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, design, and product development to maintain cohesive brand messaging.
● Build, mentor, and grow the creative team with an eye towards building a cohesive, functional department to help grow and scale with the brand over time, with an eye towards DTC Ecommerce growth.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
● Ability to craft and implement marketing plans that align with brand objectives, considering market trends and competitive landscape.
● Deep understanding and development of the brand’s identity, ensuring consistency across all channels.
● Expertise in women’s fashion ecommerce and building brands through online traffic and engagement.
● Capability to conceptualize and execute impactful marketing campaigns and events.
● Strong leadership to inspire and manage a creative team, fostering a collaborative environment.
● Superior communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
● Experience in managing creative budgets and ensuring cost-effective initiatives.
● Genuine enthusiasm for AMANDA UPRICHARD, women’s fashion, and industry trends.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
Proven experience (10 - 15 years) in marketing and creative roles within the women’s fashion industry
Strong understanding of women’s fashion market dynamics, consumer behavior, and trends
Strong technical knowledge of digital marketing strategies and platforms

165,000 USD - 190,000 USD
