As Kerusso’s VP of Marketing and eCommerce, you'll assume a pivotal role within the marketing organization, reporting directly to the CMO.
This strategic position demands a blend of marketing expertise, eCommerce proficiency, and leadership acumen. You will oversee a talented team of marketers and eCommerce specialists, driving our brand's growth across all channels.
This role requires a visionary leader with a data-driven mindset, strong visual acumen, and a passion for innovation. You will shape the marketing strategy, enhance our digital presence, and ensure a seamless customer experience across online and in-store platforms. Your ability to lead creatives, from Copywriters to Creative Directors, will be essential in driving real revenue results for the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Integrated Omni-Channel Strategy: Ensure a consistent and integrated brand experience across online, in-store, and mobile channels. Harmonize marketing efforts to maximize reach and impact.
- Retail Partnership Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners, coordinating joint marketing initiatives and campaigns. Provide marketing support to retail partners, including in-store signage, promotional materials, and staff training on brand messaging.
- Digital and E-commerce Strategy: Manage the company's digital footprint and ensure consistent branding across all online platforms. Develop and execute strategies to drive online sales, enhance user experience, and improve conversion rates.
- In-Store Marketing and Customer Engagement: Plan and execute in-store promotions and events to drive foot traffic and enhance the shopping experience. Create strategies to engage customers in-store, such as loyalty programs, personalized shopping experiences, and exclusive in-store offers.
- Data-Driven Marketing, Research, and Analytics: Utilize data analytics and consumer insights to understand consumer behavior both online and in-store, and use these insights to inform marketing strategies. Leverage research methodologies, set KPIs, monitor campaign performance, and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing efforts.
- Brand Management and Positioning: Define and maintain the brand’s identity, values, and market positioning to differentiate it from competitors. Lead the creation of compelling marketing campaigns that resonate with target audiences and strengthen brand equity across all retail touchpoints.
- Retail Experience Innovation: Leverage technology (e.g., digital displays, interactive kiosks, mobile POS) to enhance the in-store shopping experience. Stay ahead of retail and fashion trends, and integrate emerging technologies to keep the brand relevant and competitive.
- Creative Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of creatives, including Art Directors and Creative Directors, to produce visually compelling marketing materials that drive revenue and strengthen brand identity.
Job Requirements
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- Experience: 10+ years of marketing leadership experience, with a strong background in both traditional and digital marketing, particularly in e-commerce.
- Technical Proficiency: Proven experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, and marketing tools including analytics and CMS platforms.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, inspiring excellence and driving results.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, set KPIs, and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and articulate the marketing vision clearly.
- Visual Acumen: Strong visual and creative skills with the ability to lead and inspire a creative team to produce high-quality marketing materials.
