Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Retail Marketing Specialist. The Retail Marketing Specialist will be responsible for market planning, communication, trade marketing, and sales. Daily tasks may include developing marketing strategies, creating promotional materials, analyzing market trends, coordinating with retail partners, and implementing sales campaigns.
Marketing Strategy Development
- Develop and execute comprehensive retail marketing strategies to drive store traffic, increase sales, and enhance customer engagement and retention.
- Collaborate with senior management to align marketing strategies with overall business goals.
Promotional Campaigns
- Plan and implement promotional campaigns, including sales events, product launches, and in-store promotions.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve optimal results.
Customer Engagement and Clientele
- Develop initiatives to enhance the in-store customer experience, including personalized service, loyalty programs, special events, and customer appreciation activities.
- Implement clientele strategies to build strong relationships with customers and ensure repeat business.
Customer Retention
- Design and execute retention strategies, including follow-up communications, special offers, and personalized outreach to loyal customers.
- Analyze customer data to identify opportunities for improving customer retention and satisfaction.
Budget Management
- Develop and manage the retail marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
- Track and report on marketing expenditures and ROI.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Provide guidance and support to team members in executing marketing initiatives.
Collaboration with Store Managers
- Work closely with store managers to understand their needs and challenges, and to develop tailored marketing strategies for individual locations.
- Support store managers in executing local marketing initiatives and events.
Brand Consistency
- Ensure all marketing materials and activities align with the brand's voice, image, and values.
- Maintain consistent branding across all retail locations and marketing channels.
Performance Measurement
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for retail marketing efforts.
- Regularly review and report on the performance of marketing initiatives, making data-driven decisions to optimize results.
In-Store Events
- Plan and execute in-store events to engage customers, drive traffic, and increase sales.
- Coordinate with store managers and staff to ensure successful event execution.
Working with Influencers and PR
- Develop and manage relationships with influencers to promote the brand and drive awareness.
- Collaborate with PR agencies to enhance brand visibility and manage public relations efforts.
