Responsibilities:
- Develop and help implement monthly and quarterly social media marketing plans supporting clients’ overall goals.
- Develop organic and paid social media content strategies for a range of clients.
- Create editorial content calendars for the agency and clients.
- Lead content creation efforts (in conjunction with creative, copy, and account teams) for both organic and paid social efforts to ensure alignment with client brands and creative campaigns.
- Act as Community Manager for multiple clients’ social accounts, with support from the Social Media Coordinator.
- Continuously conduct online research into related industry and competitor activity.
- Strategically optimize social accounts to increase the visibility of social content.
- Collaborate with the Lead Social Strategist on optimization opportunities for paid campaigns across multiple social channels.
- Develop methods for tracking and optimizing campaign performance and for preparing ad-hoc reports.
- Lead and implement creative + copy ad refreshes, utilizing data, research, and creative insights to formulate effective creative strategy.
- Analyze social data and metrics to continually refine and improve clients’ social strategy.
- Develop new ideas for social media promotions and engagement tactics.
- Assist with client presentations.
- Proactively seek social media opportunities for new and existing clients.
- Research emerging social media trends, tools, and changes.
- This role is a hybrid of content strategy and implementation, requiring closely working with and collaborating with the various teams at Gunn|Jerkens: creative, copy, video/animation, accounts, and digital media.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience
- Experienced and comfortable on all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest and more.
- Experience with Meta Business Suite and ability to interpret reporting and optimize as necessary.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Google Analytics experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational, time, and self-management skills
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Strong sense of initiative and ability to work within tight timelines on multiple projects for a variety of clients.
