Akia is a venture-back (Series A) company founded in 2018 by ex-Facebook engineers. Akia is the guest engagement platform for hospitality operators that solves challenges around having too much to do. By seamlessly integrating messaging and automation into existing workflows, Akia is the driving force behind relaxing vacations.
We are looking for a VP of Marketing to work closely with leadership and our sales organization to build out an efficient demand-generation machine that drives new business.
You’ll work with our customer-obsessed teams to understand market needs, internal and external messaging, and build a world-class brand within travel and hospitality.
What you’ll be doing
- Build an organization to identify and drive revenue opportunities through marketing activities
- Coach and mentor high-performing individual contributors, and attract and retain talent
- Manage and oversee acquisition budget (e.g., CAC)
- Drive customer acquisition via performance marketing, events and trade shows, and content marketing
- Understand our customer base and their business needs in order to create marketing messages and differentiations with a clear vision and voice in market
- Collaborate with GTM teams to develop marketing qualified leads
What you should have
- 10+ years in a customer success leadership role in fast-growing SaaS companies
- Work Full-Time in office (San Francisco)
- Experience building customer success organizations for scale and growth with well-defined metrics
- Demonstrated ownership and success of operational rigor and consistency
- Process-oriented with goals to create efficiency through automations and toolings
