The Role:
We are seeking a visionary Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead our marketing efforts and drive the growth of our brand. As a key member of our executive team, the CMO will be responsible for developing and executing a global marketing strategy that aligns with our company’s objectives and values.
What You’ll Do:
- Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and articulate a long-term marketing vision that aligns with the company’s overall business strategy.
- Lead and Inspire Teams: Strong leadership skills to inspire and influence the entire organization, including executive teams and other departments.
- Drive Brand Consistency: Ensure that all marketing communications reflect the brand’s voice and vision consistently across all channels.
- Innovate and Implement: Leverage the latest in digital marketing, data analytics, and customer insights to keep the brand at the cutting edge.
- Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with Sales, Product Development, and Customer Service teams to create cohesive and effective campaigns.
- Oversee Budgets: Manage the marketing budget with an eye for maximizing return on investment and driving sustainable growth.
- Business Acumen: Deep understanding of business operations, financial principles, and how marketing impacts overall business success.
- Report on Performance: Provide regular reports to the CEO and board members on the effectiveness and strategic alignment of marketing initiatives.
- Global Perspective: Understanding of international markets and the ability to tailor marketing strategies for different regions and cultures.
Who You Are:
- A seasoned marketing professional with 10+ years in marketing leadership roles, preferably in the music, entertainment, or digital media industries.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies at a high level.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams and large budgets.
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; an MBA is preferred.
- Passionate about music and driven to shape the future of the industry.
Where You'll Be:
- This role will be remote.
- BPM Music offices are located in a vibrant, creative district that fosters innovation and collaboration.
- Travel 1-2 times to San Diego HQ required per quarter
