The Senior Brand & Content Marketing Manager at Paperless Post plays an integral role in managing and executing the content marketing strategy for brand- and SEO-led efforts, across a variety of marketing channels, such as blog, YouTube, and SEO-driven landing pages. We are looking for someone who can work well with internal creative teams and collaborate across the organization, particularly with product, consumer insights, and customer operations. The person in this role should be proactive and detail-oriented with a focus on getting the job done and a passion for creating on-brand, compelling content that drives business results.
The role will have dual-reporting into Director of SEO and Assoc. Director of Brand Marketing and Communications. The role is hybrid and based out of our NYC office 2x a week.
What You’ll Do Here
- Own and manage all end-to-end blog and YouTube efforts from SEO research and ideation through the briefing, production, and publishing of all content, as well as reporting on the impact of these efforts
- Manage SEO content strategy including the development of new and engaging SEO blog content as well as optimizing existing content in order to support all SEO-driven initiatives to drive business growth, while also ensuring all content is on-brand.
- Manage holistic content calendar and production of content
- Collaborate with creative teams and agency partners to ideate and produce high-quality, on-brand content that can be distributed across channels, as well as blog content tailored to specific channels and audiences
- Manage SEO copywriting agency relationship, ensuring deliverables are received on time and within budget while also being on-brand and top-editing where needed.
- Seek out compelling creators, designers, artists, and users to collaborate with on creating unique and ownable content that we can leverage across marketing channels
- Conduct interviews with subject matter experts, as needed to add expert commentary to blog articles
- Support new design partner launches and leverage existing partnerships to create unique content to distribute across various marketing channels
- Support the development of additional types of SEO-driven content including but not limited to, landing pages, email copy, educational pages, & FAQs
- Support the development of integrated marketing ideas and campaigns for Paperless Post’s Party Shop
- Support PR and brand ambassador programs to generate on-brand UGC and conduct interviews, when necessary
Must Haves
- 4-6 years in a content marketing role, ideally with some writing experience, and experience with SEO keyword research & optimizations
- Experience creating well-researched SEO-driven content outlines that result in high-performing, on-brand content
- Editorial experience and/or experience writing and creating content that demonstrates compelling storytelling
- Experience making data-driven decisions using analytics, with reporting capabilities
- Experience using WordPress to upload content
- Experience with at least one of the following SEO tools: Ahrefs, SEMRush, Google Search Console
- Experience working with influencers and/or brand ambassadors, a plus
- Knowledge of and experience working with social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and LinkedIn, a plus
- Experience with analytics tools including Google Analytics (GA4), Looker Studio & Looker, a plus
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects, responsibilities, and timelines

The compensation range for this role is $95,000 - 115,000 USD.
At Paperless Post, compensation is based on a number of factors, including geographic location, job-related skills, years of experience, and internal team banding. All full-time offer packages come with a base salary, equity component, and options for fully paid medical, dental, and vision benefits. The range posted here is based on the NYC market and may vary based on candidate location.
